Year of The Horse

This series was made to celebrate the Year Of The Horse. Chinese folk and religious art influenced the fluidity and graphics in the illustration. Bold colors and customized Chinese type bring a modern perspective to the traditional theme.

The larger Chinese characters read 丙午马年（Bing-Wu-Ma-Nian Literally Bing Wu Year of the Horse), which is how 2026 is numbered in the traditional Ganzhi (Sexagenary cycle) system. The smaller characters read 二〇二六 (2026).
